LINDSAY, ON
CMB repaired a 7,000 sq.ft. screw-down roof for a busy cash crop farm in Lindsay, ON. A severe 2018 spring storm removed over 50% of the original roof, leaving the rest irreparably damaged. CMB removed the old roof, 8” spray foam insulation, and structural steel. Demolition was challenging due to high temperatures and limited space. Ensuring the client’s access to half the building, CMB’s management devised a safe work plan. The new roof is 6” MBI insulation and screw-down galvanized sheeting. Custom additions addressed low eave conditions, elevation, and water ponding. Repairs included cladding, a new storm-resistant gutter system, and a custom steel column to repair a bi-fold door.
