Facility Expansion
In early 2020, CMB Erectors Inc. completed an 11,000 sq. ft. expansion for Cravo Equipment Ltd. in Brantford, Ontario. Cravo, a specialist in greenhouse fabrication, needed the additional space to meet increasing demand.
The project utilised a Robertson pre-engineered building featuring a mono-slope roof and standing seam system. The new structure includes a double dock door with a below-grade loading dock, which significantly improves logistics for both incoming materials and outgoing products. To create a more comfortable work environment, translucent roof panels were incorporated, allowing for more natural light.
CMB Erectors worked alongside Lanca Contracting and steel supplier Robertson to deliver this expansion. This added production and warehousing capacity will help Cravo continue to supply quality structures to growers across the country, supporting year-round fresh vegetable production.
