Facility Expansion
In early 2020, CMB Erectors completed an 8,000 sq. ft. expansion for Manchester Pets in Brantford, Ontario. This pre-engineered Steelway building addition was designed to enhance the client’s growing supply operations, featuring a mono-slope design and a standing seam roof. Key features included a large drive-up overhead door for loading larger items and crates, as well as two additional dock doors installed alongside existing ones to facilitate increased shipping capacity. A critical aspect of the project was maintaining uninterrupted daily deliveries and outbound truck operations, ensuring that Manchester Pets’ business activities continued smoothly throughout the construction process. Upon completion, the facility more than doubled its loading and shipping capabilities, significantly improving operational efficiency.
