CMB was contracted to install a custom cladding package for a rooftop access stairwell on the cafeteria building at Sheridan colleges’ Trafalgar campus. This project was unlike any project to date for CMB. CMB was tasked with taking a very industrial looking access stairwell structure and create an ecstatically pleasing look and finish matching the numerous existing structures on the campus. Once modifications were done to the structure to allow for the installation of a custom cladding package CMB commenced installation of the two tier cladding package provided by Agway metals. The result changed the look of the structure completely taking away the harsh industrial look and leaving the client with a visually pleasing seamless look to a very unattractive starting structure. This project was on a very tight timeline to be 100% complete by the start of the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. Access in this small area was a challenge for equipment and materials, the CMB crew persevered through these issues and produced a great result on time and on budget.
